Driven by faith, united by purpose
Fideles Amici is an organization with the mission to foster Catholic community and theological discussion across greater Tucson and southern Arizona from diverse parishes, communities, and age groups.
We are Catholics seeking to know and serve the Lord and one another, while living in a society which is increasingly hostile to our faith. In Genesis….’we were not created to be alone’ Genesis 2:18 God created us to need others and live in community. Thanks to these relationships available to us through Fideles Amici we can continue to know, love, and serve God as Jesus himself exemplified; He had many friends such as Mary, Martha, Lazarus, and his disciples, who were by his side in public life… as Jesus says, “I have called you friends.” John 15:15. As is often said, ‘A Catholic alone is a Catholic in danger.’ Acts 2:42 The early church was devoted to the apostles teaching, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.
Fideles Amici is a registered 501(c)3 organization. We meet monthly (with a summer break), with most meetings featuring a noted Catholic speaker. All of our meetings feature good food, good wine, and thought-provoking conversation.
Fideles Amici is a 501(c)3 organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and limited part-time staff. The 2026 Board of Directors:
